BridgeDTLA combines community intelligence, campaign discipline, and hands-on digital execution. We work with developers, campaigns, nonprofits, civic institutions, and companies when the audience is skeptical, the stakes are high, and the outcome matters.
What we do
Find credible advocates, host the right events, and turn real local support into action.
Shape the narrative around complex land-use, policy, and civic issues before the decisive moment.
Reach the audiences who matter across social, email, text, search, television, and streaming.
Build the data, automations, and supporter journeys that convert attention into coordinated action.
Create persuasive identities and action-oriented websites built around the result.
Understand the terrain, pressure-test the opposition, and build a story that can withstand scrutiny.

Case studies

The Alexan
Against organized opposition, Bridge used NationBuilder, community events, targeted communications, and direct outreach to build a visible constituency for new housing.
Build community, counter misinformation, find local supporters, and motivate them to take action through a coordinated website, database, social, email, and text program.
Bridge identified and ranked advocates by real behavior, created supporter events at neighborhood venues, and kept the community engaged as the project moved through the approval process.
At the final hearing, a map built from the supporter database showed support distributed throughout the neighborhood while opposition was concentrated around a single building. The result was a clear public mandate.

DTLA Nation
Bridge built a platform that matched Downtown residents with nearby businesses, events, and offers based on where they lived and what they genuinely cared about.
Residents wanted good local experiences. Restaurants wanted patrons on slower nights. DTLA Nation created a direct, mutually useful connection between them.
NationBuilder replaced a patchwork of tools with a single database that tagged people by neighborhood and interests, then automated relevant text invitations and RSVPs.
Businesses filled empty tables, residents found worthwhile experiences within walking distance, and Downtown became a more connected, responsive community.
What clients say

“BridGE built our website and expertly managed all social and digital communication for a hotly contested regional ballot measure. Their messaging was crisp, graphics were interesting and the ads were expertly targeted to reach the voters we needed to hit to win on Election Day. BridGE played an essential role in helping us achieve victory.”

“With a project as complicated as ours—Crossroads Hollywood—in a neighborhood as controversial as Hollywood, BridGE did an incredible job of bringing out supporters, controlling the social media narrative and, at the end of the day, delivered six times as many speakers to City Hall as our opposition. We highly recommend them to anyone who has a NIMBY problem.”

“It’s been awesome working with BridGE. They are always available to us and have done wonders with our limited budget. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work at a great price.”

“We had a great experience working with BridGE and I’m grateful for all that they’ve done for The Center. We’ve already recommended them to our friends.”

“Our firm has worked with Josh and his team at Bridge DTLA on several occasions and we could not be more pleased with their service and professionalism. Despite the challenges we throw at them, Bridge always comes through. Their communication and responsiveness are top-notch and we would not hesitate to use them again.”

“Josh is scary good at tech-enhanced outreach and coalition-building. His knowledge, know-how, and network in DTLA will help you get your message in front of the right eyeballs.”

“Josh is the consummate DTLA insider. I have known him for 10 years and you would be hard pressed to find anyone else with his skill set and knowledge of our community. He is helping to shape our new DTLA.”

“Bridge is the most effective link between a project team and the digital world I have ever encountered. Josh Gray-Emmer makes each interaction a strategic interface that produces the results we as clients look for.”

“We are extremely happy in our work with BridGE. BridGE has collaborated with us on multiple projects, and they are always able to deliver the supporters we need, whether through letters to decision makers or speakers at Planning Commission and City Council hearings. We highly recommend them to anyone who has a NIMBY problem or complex project.”
